of   ORIENT  ARABIANS 

Two stallions and three mares strongly marked the history of the stud farm .
They still are a good guarantee of the quality of the production .
To this day 153 "ORIENT" are born at the stud .

Jedivi    JEDIVI . 1967-1996   Jedivi head
                  (ALHABAC x FAQUIH x BORNI)
                Born in Granada (Spain) at Countess Belalcazar'stud, JEDIVI was imported in 1970.
                       Used  mainly  for cross-breeding ( more than 300 foals) he is still regarded as one of the
                         best french ponies producer stallion.

 
    He sired 17 stallions, five of them for the 
 National Stud, 26 rated horses and many 
 winners in endurance ( KEMIR II Olympic
 Medal 1986).
 He is the father of 54 Arabians ( 27 females
 and 27 males) , of which the stallions:
-- ORIENT ADJAN   French and Italian 
        National Champion
 -- ORIENT ALIENTO exported to Canada
 -- ORIENT ALIF et ORIENT AMON RA

 and his kindness, and his fillies their sometimes a bit independent, but also charming character.

                            GHAMAL . 1972-1990     ( GHAZAL x NINIVE x NIZAR )
           Ghamal

     Born at Mrs Dömken's stud in Germany, GHAMAL was
    imported in France in 1988 .
       Last son of the most famous egyptian GHAZAL, he never
    bred in Germany.
       Show twice, he was 2nd in Marseille and 1st in Bordeaux
       GHAMAL sired 16 foals : 12 fillies and 4 colts.
       Only one of his sons is breeding : "ORIENT AL GHAZAL"
    out of AKABA, ( GHAZAL x ALGAÏDA ) to our knowledge
    this arabian is the only double grand-son of GHAZAL
       Beautiful white bony stallion with a long mane, GHAMAL 
     did really well with the daughters of  JEDIVI.   

 

 

                             HALOUA .1974-2003    ( ALHABAC  x ALAVA x CONGO )

Haloua portrait     Born  at the Mr Laredo's" Haras du Cap d'Arbon"
  HALOUA  is the foundation mare.
     She  produced 11foals ( 6 fillies -5 colts ) :the stallions
  Nil d'Orient ( Jedivi), Orient Alazo (Jedivi), and the brood
  mares :  Nedj d'Orient (Jedivi), Orient Alba (Jedivi)
  Orient Alpha (Jedivi). 
 On the show ring she won the
championship at Nimes in 1975
was 2nd at Paris in 1977, and
1st in 1987.
She is the grand-mother of
 ORIENT AJILAH .

                                                       JASKULKA POLSKA   ( BAJ x ELEONORE x ETAN )  

   Born in 1975 at the stud of Mrs Cantrel, 
 JASKULKA was the second foundation mare of
 Orient Arabians.
  Broodmare at the stud from 1978 to 1984 , she
had six foals all by JEDIVI : 3 fillies and 3 colts,
the great show  stallion ORIENT ADJAN and the
 jumping champion stallion ORIENT ASSAD,
the mares FLAMME D'ORIENT mother of
 ORIENT ATEYYAH , and ORIENT ASDA, mother 
of ORIENT AMEERAH.

                            AKABA - 1968-1994    ( GHAZAL x ALGAÏDA x CONGO )    
Akaba
  Born at the stud of Mrs Dömken in Germany, 
 this daughter of GHAZAL was the first  " Golden Cross"
 His production was small but exceptionnel :
 -APHRODITE ( Mameluck) National English champion 
-ATHOS (Daemon ) all bred stallion winning in jumping 
   and dressage.
 -ARFAS ( Le Fabuleux )  show and jumping champion 
 
-ORIENT AMON RA (Jedivi )all bred stallion 
       endurance

                                                       -ORIENT AL GHAZAL ( Ghamal) stallion endurance
           * AKABA was National champion in 1983, mother of the best colt of the show
